What's your concern?

Fine Lines and Wrinkles

The most common feature patients would like modified are wrinkles associated with aging. Many natural options are available depending on the cause of the wrinkle (hyperactive muscle, sun damage, smoke damage, dehydration, etc) as well as its severity. Several facial aesthetic strategies can be implemented from anti-aging agents to regenerate tissues or reduce the onset of fine line and wrinkles to more conventional concepts such as muscle paralysis or bioactive materials.

Over time, wrinkles can give the general appearance of sagging skin, reversing the often-desired pyramid facial shape towards a bottom-heavy triangular face shape as a result of loss of firmness and texture as well as a reduction in collagen synthesis.

Several factors affect wrinkles including sun exposure, smoking, sleep patterns, nutrition, hydration among others. These typically begin around the eyes and forehead, and then extend to areas around the lips and naso-labial folds. It is important to treat fine lines and wrinkles as early as possible with natural skin care products and facial treatments to avoid further complex treatment requirements if left untreated.

Skin treatments available to treat fine lines wrinkles include

  • Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) therapy; either by injection or microneedling
  • Laser therapy
  • Botox
  • Bio-Fillers and synthetic fillers

Treatments for acne and acne scars:

  • The number 1 choice of therapy is PRF where leukocytes (white blood cells) are
utilized to help fight active infections
  • Laser therapy
  • Bio-Fillers and synthetic fillers for deeper acne scars

Acne and Acne Scars

Acne and Acne scarring are the second most commonly performed procedures within our offices. Studies have shown that approximately 80% of the population suffers from acne at some point during their lives often resulting in scar formation, pits or changes in skin texture. Acne can visually be detected in several forms and severity, affecting skin types of different ages and ethnicities. Furthermore, acne scars cause even more emotional discomfort in patients as a result of skin pores and dimples being created as a result of past inflamed blemishes caused by enlarged skin pores with excessive oil, dead skin and/or bacteria. At CARE Esthetics, several options exist to help eliminate these issues resulting in beautiful and vibrant skin following therapy; most commonly performed utilizing entirely natural approaches.

Rosacea and Visually-Observed Facial Veins

Rosacea is a chronic condition characterized by redness of the face most commonly observed around the cheeks, nose, and forehead. Patients also develop visible blood vessels (apparent veins) on their face as well (termed telangiectasia).

These often result in unattractive red, blue or purple visible veins on the face (especially the lower face). In either case, laser therapy is the go-to method to remove small vessels without discomfort. Conditions such as Rosacea can be treated utilizing a combination approach of laser therapy with micro-needling + PRF.

Sun Damage and Melasma Formation

Sun damage can be one of the most prominent reasons facial aging advances. Common areas of brown ‘patches’ appearing on the face can result from too much melanin production (termed melasma) following excessive sun exposure resulting in unnatural facial discoloration.

Sun damage also exposes facial tissues to the harsh damages of ultraviolet (UV) light resulting in a rapid loss in skin elasticity and decreased ability to produce collagen.

Treatment with PRF and microneedling can bring substantial improvements in skin texture and facial aging caused by sun damage. Melasma formation is best treated with lasers and or certain pigment correction serums utilized at CARE Esthetics. In such cases, a consultation is required to determine which facial treatment approach will be best to treat your own skin depending on the severity of your condition and skin type.

Mole Removal

Moles often occur while aging. These are easily removed via laser therapy and are virtually painless. Your doctor will remove the mole by removing cell tissues in a layer-by-layer fashion until the mole is entirely removed.

Much like dark spots, these are easy skin treatment procedures to eliminate the condition and greatly improve patient satisfaction and facial aesthetics.
