With a passport in hand, and traveling all over the world, a career in international business initially proved exciting for Dr. Van Hala! Working in Thailand, Rwanda, China, and throughout Europe brought memorable adventures and relationships, but with it a longing for home. Fast forward in time, Dr. Van Hala pursued dentistry as it provides challenge, and, most importantly the opportunity to form lasting and meaningful relationships with patients. Focusing on complex and multi-disciplinary general dentistry, implants and biologic treatment remain foremost among his passions.

Dr. Van Hala earned his B.A. in International Studies from Miami University in 1997 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2007. Dedicated to continuing education, he has received advanced training from Biolase, the prestigious Dawson Academy, the Midwest Implant Institute, and the Full Mouth Mastery Series at Dental Ceramic’s Center for Exceptional Practices. He continues his education at other events such as the annual Keystone Dental Symposium, Roe’s Chrome Guided Smile and Digital Smile Design, Invisalign®, and advanced training from Swiss Dental Solutions’ Center for Ceramic Implants in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the International Association of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. By developing relationships and understanding patients’ oral health and smile goals, Dr. Van Hala provides exceptional cosmetic, biologic, restorative, and implant dentistry services to patients in the Northeast Ohio area. Currently, Dr. Brent Van Hala practices in the Hudson and North Canton locations.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the International Association of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. By developing relationships and understanding patients’ oral health and smile goals, Dr. Van Hala provides exceptional cosmetic, biologic, restorative, and implant dentistry services to patients in the Northeast Ohio area. Currently, Dr. Brent Van Hala practices in the Hudson and North Canton locations.

Personally, Dr. Van Hala has been married to his wife, Amy since 2000 and has four children. When he is not watching a child’s sporting event or attending a school-related activity, he enjoys playing soccer himself, skiing, travel, cooking and entertaining friends and family. He, along with his family attend and are members of Parkside Church.
