Dr. Al Manesh is a highly trained periodontist, and implant dentist who founded Mission Dental Implant Center. He specializes in regenerative periodontal treatment, dental implants, oral plastic surgery, and cosmetic operations. He was intrigued by dentistry as a child and knew he wanted a vocation that would eventually have an impact on the lives of people. His enthusiasm for dentistry has only grown stronger, and he now provides high-quality care to patients throughout Southern California.

When Dr. Manesh was seventeen years old, he relocated to Orange County with his family. He earned an undergraduate degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and then relocated to Portland, Oregon, where he acquired a dental degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1993.

Upon graduation, Dr. Manesh relocated to Brooklyn, New York, to pursue his general medicine residency at Lutheran Medical Center. After a year, he shifted his specialization to periodontics and enrolled in Louisiana State University’s postgraduate periodontal school. In 1998, Dr. Manesh returned to Orange County after graduating. He worked at South Coast Dental Specialties as an associate, where he practiced periodontics and implant dentistry until early 2007, when he started Mission Dental Implant Center in Mission Viejo, California.

Dr. Manesh genuinely enjoys his work. He is constantly widening his knowledge and improving his expertise. He believes it is vital for a surgeon to stay current with technological advancements. Dr. Manesh strives to serve his patients with the highest standard of care possible in a setting equipped with the most advanced resources. Along with continuing his education, Dr. Manesh is a published author, a well-known lecturer, and an International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) fellow.

Dr. Manesh established the Ceramic Implant Institute in 2015, where he conducts professional training courses in implant placement and restoration and implant-related periodontal and prosthodontic procedures. Dr. Manesh is happily married and the father of three children. He is a member of the Mission Viejo community and loves spending time with his family, traveling, reading, jet skiing, and boating in his spare time.
